The 12 miniatures are written for harp and organ. They describe, each in its own fashion and in a humorous way, vehicles moving on the roads. The musical texture is that of a duet between the two instruments, but the composer rebels against the accepted images (of the organ, normally heavy and liturgical, and the harp, normally feminine and elegant).
