This work corresponds with the song cycle Girl Butterfly Girl. The beginnings of each of the four songs, in Arabic, are played in a symphonic version on magnetic tape. The live musicians on stage – on piano, violin and cello – join in: playing their instruments, singing a new narrative in Hebrew, Arabic, English and French, and even moving.
